Sophie is currently a teacher in the Irvine Unified School District. She was one of the first members of YSOC in 2009, and later took over as instructor from 2013-2015 as a high schooler. Sophie has always had a deep appreciation for the arts and community service, starting when she was 5 years old, participating in community theater. She learned several instruments and was a competitive dancer throughout elementary and middle school, and went on to become a student at Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) for 7-12th grade. After living in Portland, OR for 5 years, Sophie moved back to Orange County, and joined the Board of Directors of YSOC. She is excited to continue her work with YSOC, now as the Executive Director!
